I love it!!! Wonderful composition of a slice in time of a typical American family. Richard, deep in thought, gazing out the window; Mary, absorbed in the newspaper. I just have one tiny suggestion: next time, if possible, change your angle slightly to eliminate the person to the left of Richard...or ask him to move out of the camera's view (I think it would make a stronger image). Really good interpretation of the assignment, Phil, and I truly do love this one!
Awesome photojournalistic image. I love it. I agree with Trish that elimination of that other person would have made a stronger image--but anyhow it's one I keep wanting to look at. Great atmosphere.
