If you look at the painting you can just make out the location of the green plaque over the front door ..It is in the second to last picture near the top .This image is inside the factory looking over the back of an employee at the plaque

That's amazing! I toured that factory when I worked for PDT, but never noticed or knew that!
Nice summary of the progression of what happened to the school--the photos accompanying the story are great. AND pretty interesting that they preserved the school and built around it. Too bad they didn't leave more of it in its original condition. Another nice history lesson, thanks.
