Oooh, I wish you has taken more pictures of the trains...then I would have made an animated gif out of them:)
Apartments may be a nice addition to the city if they are maintained and if the renovations were able to keep some of the charm.

That building should be made into apartments. A nice piece of history could be preserved that way.
