Well yeah ..Im taking pictures of food too



I got home and had a delicious tomato sandwich

I couldn't resist posting the pictures or the Surrender on The Missouri in 1945

Hey Phil, I know for sure you weren't there when the surrender was signed, so where did you get these awesome photos? I was standing right on that spot on the ship when I was there the other day! It really makes history come alive.

And your sandwich looks very good!

PS--there was a guide talking to a group when we were there. She said the Japanese wouldn't sit down to sign the surrender. Bad enough they had to surrender, but they were going to keep some of their dignity by refusing the seats offered them. Interesting.

Don't want to contradict Linda's guide but it looks like the one with the cane in the first picture is sitting down at the table in the last picture.What do you think?
