nothing wrong with that!!!!!sandwich looks delicious:)
Hey Phil, I know for sure you weren't there when the surrender was signed, so where did you get these awesome photos? I was standing right on that spot on the ship when I was there the other day! It really makes history come alive. And your sandwich looks very good!
PS--there was a guide talking to a group when we were there. She said the Japanese wouldn't sit down to sign the surrender. Bad enough they had to surrender, but they were going to keep some of their dignity by refusing the seats offered them. Interesting.
Glad you like the picts..As I said on your post I am going backwards and forwards to Pearl.Picts go to Google,,,,,upper left Images,,,, put in your topic get one you like .. File ,,Download as a Document....retrieve to blog
Your tomato sandwich looks delicious, but that knife is awfully scary looking! Loved the historical photos, too. Thanks, Phil! :-)P.S. Enjoyed Linda's little tidbit, too!
Don't want to contradict Linda's guide but it looks like the one with the cane in the first picture is sitting down at the table in the last picture. What do you think?
Food and history..a good combination to me!
What do you like on your tomato sandwiches? I'm a sucker for toasted tuna and tomato!
